The CC’s Process
- Initial Request: Every product we make is built to order, so every project starts when a customer requests a quote for a set of stairs, or door entry/access platforms.
- Site Measurement: Precise measurement is essential to ensure your stairs have the correct rise, and will fit for your application. Our team offers on-site measuring to ensure accuracy before fabrication begins. Custom-made units are not inexpensive, and corrections caused by mis-measurement are costly. If we receive measurements from the customer and the dimensions are incorrect, then the cost of changes falls to the customer. If we measure and, on the rare occasion, it’s incorrect, we cover the correction.
- Quoting: With measurements confirmed, we prepare a detailed, up-to-date quote. Material prices, availability, and shop rates can change over time, so quotes are time-sensitive and may differ if orders are delayed.
- Order & Scheduling: Once the quote is accepted, we collect deposits (for new customers), order material, schedule the project into our queue, and complete the build. Projects are organized by urgency, safety, and fit within our workload.
- Delivery & Installation: When fabrication is complete, our team typically delivers and installs the stairs or platforms directly on site.
Made-to-order stairs and platforms can’t be rushed, they are crafted, not pulled from a shelf. Planning ahead allows us to deliver a high-quality product and a smooth installation.
